designer and distributor of women's dress footwear, announced today
that Daniel Amado has joined the Company as Senior Vice President
and Creative Director.

Amado comes to The Fashion House with a successful track record
in wholesale and retail brand development. Amado spent fourteen
years at Nine West Group where he served as President of the Selby
Division and Senior Vice President, Product Development. In this
role, he doubled future orders for the company, achieved 130 percent
gross margins and increased catalog house sales by 70 percent.
His experience also includes five years with Aerogroup
International as Senior Vice President, Product Development for
Aerosoles' AS-Signature and A2 brands. During his tenure, he
repositioned the Aerosoles global brand through the development and
expansion of new categories and reinvented the product by
introducing modern, fashion-driven designs which resulted in retail
expansion to 100 stores in the US and 67 stores in Europe. He
successfully created the concept, design and marketing of the AS --
Aerosoles Signature brand by positioning it to a more upscale and
contemporary consumer.
Amado will oversee all aspects of design and line building for
all of The Fashion House's product lines, including future brand
acquisitions. He and his team will also be responsible for materials
sourcing, trend scouting and first price cost negotiation.
